Personal Summary

Ms. Vlacich received her Bachelor of Science degree in Health Administration and certificates in Gerontology & Health Care Management from St. Joseph’s College in Patchogue. New York. She has had an extensive Nursing career in N.Y. & Pennsylvania hospitals having been in charge of Critical Care units and as an Administrative Supervisor, in charge of the hospitals on the off shifts. She also had been a Director of Nursing in Pennsylvania (University of Pennsylvania’s Penn Center), Maryland & Arizona for over 13 years. She has been a Nursing Assistant Program Coordinator / Instructor with Job Corps, both in Tucson & Phoenix, for 5 years prior to coming to AZTTI. At AZTTI she wrote four Nursing Assistant programs that were approved by the Arizona Board of Nursing in 2020. Having been on both sides of Nursing, hands-on as well as management gives her a unique perspective into Nursing Assistant responsibilities and the pitfalls that can arise, enabling her to give students the benefit of her experiences.
